    Thanks graffiti.

Thought about that, but also thought there was a way to do it within Acro.

What version of Acrobat are you using? One little known ‘trick’ that’s been around for awhile is to hold down the shift key and go to File > Create PDF > From Blank Page. I don’t have an older version of Acrobat around on Mac anymore so I can’t check it on that OS. I do have Acrobat 7.0.9 on Windows and it works in there. This feature has been added to the regular functionality of Acrobat 8.0. Just go to File > Create PDF > From Blank Page. (This feature is not accessible from the Acrobat toolbar, only the File menu). Anyway, after you create that page you can insert it into the desired document at the desired location using the Document > Insert Pages... Feature.

It's a new feature in Acrobat 8: File > Create PDF > From Blank Page.

Well, here is one I didn't think of until this question was asked...and it is "Outside of the box".

It's a pain to set up but once done you don't have to worry about doing it again.

    Here goes nothin'...

    - Set up web sharing

    - Set the index.html of the web share to a blank page.

    - Then go to Advanced>Web Capture>Create PDF From/Append Web Page...

    - Make sure that your Web Capture settings are not set to add the Headers and Footers to the captured page.

    - Type the URL <http://127.0.0.1>

    - Click the Create button

    - Your new Blank page is now appended to the current document.
