To make a PDF file you go to the FILE menu and scroll down to EXPORT... release on export where a window pops up and gives you several options, PDF, EPS, ILL, FH, etc...
Select PDF, choose options and set the page numbers and color pref (CMYK, RGB or both) and click ok!

    Thats it! ;)

If you want a small and reliable PDF don't Export.

When you print in OSX you need to select Output Options from the pop-up
menu that says Copies & Pages, in the print dialog, check the Save As
File box and then select PostScript. This will give you a PS file to
    distill.

The thing is that i cannot distill the PS file in Acrobat 6 or distiller. An error occur. In OS 9 it is ok last time with Acrobat 5. It seems that creating PDF in OS X is still a trouble some process, then I shouldn't have upgrade.

OK, in your original post you said you created an EPS (I assume from the
FH export) and tried to distill that. If you are getting the error on
the PS file from the Print Dialog then I would check your settings, make
sure you are using a valid PPD file (Acrobat PPD would probably be
best). Look at this page to make sure you have everything set up correctly.
