Hi all,

I'm curious if this is possible. presently, we use a lot of layers in
our catalog work at our job. in quark, you could turn on all the layers
you want to copy. select the objects on all corresponding layers at
once (select all command). then, just drag the layers and all their
objects from one quark doc to another.

this would copy the layers, the layer order and the objects as well.
the objects would still stay on their respective layers. even when they
are dragged to the new quark file.

i can't see how do drag layers in this manner in indesign.

hopefully this makes sense.
