Hold the CTRL key down while depressing the F8 (function 8) key once to create
a new symbol. This put you in the new symbol screen mode. Then draw your text
box, type your text or cut and paste, etc.

Now return to your "Scene" screen mode. Make a new layer place you cursor on a
key frame in that new layer. Select the F6 (function 6) to add a keyframe then
from your "Library" (F11) click and drag your new symbol (your text) on to the
    stage.

Now select a frame 10 or 20 frames to the right on the same layer as above and
select the F6 key to add a keyframe. then on the stage select the text - your
propeties window changes. In the drop down select "Alpha" and enter "0%".
    Scroll back and forth. Done.
