How do I lock a link? - Macromedia Contribute General Discussion

I have a question that I have not been able to find an answer to. My employers website (cypresshealth.ca) is undergoing some changes, performed by myself. If you have a look at our website, you will notice the left hand navigation column (About Us, Health Facilities, etc.) I have set up a "photo gallery" which is accessible from the home page. When you click on it, you get to the photos page that I built and everything works fine and dandy. I have a question that I have not been able to find an answer to.

My employers website (cypresshealth.ca) is undergoing some changes, performed
by myself. If you have a look at our website, you will notice the left hand
navigation column (About Us, Health Facilities, etc.)

I have set up a "photo gallery" which is accessible from the home page. When
you click on it, you get to the photos page that I built and everything works
    fine and dandy.

The problem is, if you click on any other area of the site (say, for instance,
"Physicians"), the photo gallery link on the left hand navigation column
disappears. It only appears on the home page and in the photo gallery pages
(where i've added the link manually).

Is there a way that I can lock that photo gallery link so that it always stays
on the left hand navigation column, no matter what page on the website you're
    visiting?

Thanks in advance for the help! (Using Contribute CS3).

Also, I am relatively new to Contribute. If anyone knows of a good CS3
Contribute tutorial site, i'd greatly appreciate it).

You can design a template of your choice with links, editable region... using
Dreamweaver. After that whenever you create a new page in Contribute using that
template, that templates properties will be same for all the page you create
    using that template.
    Thanks.

Is there any way to create this links/editable regions template without
Dreamweaver? I do not have Dreamweaver, and unfortunately our website was
built by somebody other than myself so I have little control over which
    properties I can adjust.
