Highlight a few pdf's. Go to File>Get Info (or hit Control+I)>Open with. Choose Acrobat then click "Change All".

Doesn't work. Acrobat is already listed as "open with."
Preview icon PDFs occur when I get PDFs emailed to me or I download them.
Pain in the butt to constantly have to do a save as.

As mentioned before .. never use Preview so I deleted it .. always open
in Acrobat now ;-)
