    Adding a line break using:
    response.write "<br />" to write a line break on a WEB page is well doented on the WEB. Just have on a line by itself: response.write "<br />"

    Now, what I could not figure out was how to place a line break when writing to a Text file. So, I tried:

    dim snd_br

    snd_br = ("*") ' Use ANSI <ALT 255, ASCII (Space)> to enter a line return in between the quotes.
    fname.WriteLine (snd_br)

    I also figured out you don't need to go to that length. All you need to do is:

    fname.WriteLine

    or

    fname.WriteLine ()

    or

    fname.WriteLine ""

    I am fairly new to ASP programming, so I have spent hours trying to find an example to write a line break into a text file using ASP. Then, I stumbled on all these different ways.
