My director project incorporates several mpeg video clips which are linked externally and displayed Direct To Stage. However, just before the videos play the image flashes, and then begins to play normally.

I'm also replacing some larger Director animations with QuickTime video versions (chunks of the timeline exported as QT and then imported back in to replace the graphics). These too suffer from the same effect of flashing (sometimes to the movies background colour) before playing.

Is there any way I can avoid this?
