decimal (0 to 255) is another. Percentage is yet another. All are RGB,
which is the only color system Fireworks uses.
FW lets you change the display from hex to decimal or several other
choices, from a menu. The specifics depend on your version of FW. But it
does not affect the image or how it is saved.

Thank You,
I have an image that is PNG32 and was saved with a transparent back ground. How can I get rid of the transparent back ground using fw without loosing any quality of the image?

make it nontransparent?--and whether the foreground is vector or bitmap.
Is it a native Fireworks PNG?

Re: How do I save an image to RGB colors?
I want to change the backgound to white. Or remove the transparency so that the backgound is white. Im using the images for making t-shirts at cafepress and their printing machine makes eveything that is pure white transparent. The images where drawn by someone else. I dont believe they used fireworks but, im not sure. When I open the folder that they are in with my browser ,they have the fireworks icon.

Set the magic wand to anti-aliased, tolerance=5 or so. Click on the
black background, inverse the selection, and copy it to the clipboard.
Deselect everything and paste it back in as a new bitmap object. Cut the
original image to the clipboard, select the new object, and Paste Inside.
If the edges were trimmed too loosely or too tightly, start over using
more or less wand tolerance respectively.
