how do i take a multi page single file & makeit single page single files? - Adobe Indesign Macintosh

Using IDcs2 I've always built in single pages on a single file in the past. If I were to build a multi paged file with text running on from page to page and my print provider wants to receive PDF files as 1 page per file, how would I do this? Can't seem to find this answer in Help, but I'm sure it must be a simple automated process. Anyone?...

Easiest way would be to export the full doent and then extract the
    pages in Acrobat Pro.

If you don't have Acrobat Pro and don't want to buy it, there's a neat little utility called PDFLab that can split out the pages of a multi-page PDF, among other things.

It's free, though you can donate to him if you like.

(It isn't totally obvious how you split out pages. You have to turn down the little triangle at the bottom of the window to see a collection of tools. You'll see what I mean if you try it.)

Isn't there a script on the Adobe Studio Exchange that will do just this?

I suggest you pass on the link information about PDFLab to your print provider.

Use PageExporterUtility. It's freeware, it works great and is very flexible.

Get it in the Adobe InDesign Exchange, under scripts, or try this link:

I use it all the time.

I make a program called PDF Bee that will do this also.
