How Do You Get Rid of It?
I can't stand how Contribute screwed around with my other programs. Microsoft
Word always comes up with an entire bar for "Open In Contribute" "Publish To
Website" and "Post to Blog". I don't ever want to do any of those things and
it's taking up my screen space. I've learned that I can remove the bar in
Microsoft Word by going to Tools > Templates and Add Ons > and removing the
file ContributeWordUITemplate.dot. However the next time I open any Microsoft
Word file this same ContributeWordUITemplate.dot file is just recreated so I
can't stop this annoying stuff.
How do I make Contrubute stop adding that annoying toolbar to my Microsoft
Office files, and to stop recreating files such as ContributeWordUITemplate.dot
even after I manually delete them? I want Contribute to go away.
P.S. I would just uninstall Contribute if I could but it's not an option
unless I delete all the Adobe products I actually do use..
