How do you scale by inches not %
I am trying to recreate several logos in different widths.
In adobe illustrator you just type in one size and hold th ctrl (windows) key and it's done.
Proportionate scaling by a number - measurement.
I can't find any feature in Freehand that does it. I don't want to use % to scale.
What's so difficult with adding this feature or making it easier to find to use??
I will have to finish this project in Illustrator but I really like Freehand.
Oh well, anyone know the hidden trick?

okay, after reading a little bit here ... the answer is an equation... give me a break.
Anyone out there writing plugins for this software? I will pay for a scale plug in that
should be here anyway.

Indeed... a terrible way to have to accomplish this IMO. I often think
that no one at MM has ever user Illustrator or CorelDRAW (to see how
some things could be done much better).
