    Default how do you test and debug your applications - methodsneeded

    hello,

    I am compiling a report which uses the SDLC and i am currently on the testing
    stage where i need to test my completed application.

    Could you let me know of any techniques, methods, tools, to help me.

    All input is welcome, i have so far, had a potentail customer test the
    application, and used dreamweaver built in debuggers, such as dead links, etc...

    I find the best approach is to get a gropu of people to test it. If this is
    an app for the general public then try to find someone who is not very
    computer literate, as you would be amazed at how people can stuff up in
    areas where as a developer you would not think is possible.
