Poking around a bit further...
It seems that eolsoft's and moonvalley's flash players both use
Adobe/Macromedia's flash plugin (analogous to Real Alternative's use of
Real Network's codec...I guess). Dunno about Bitcomet's app.
Does anyone have any recent experience with Gnash on Win32?

"BitComet FLV Player is a standalone application to play Flash Video
files (.flv file). It supports zoom 1x/2x/FullScreen, playback
progress control, volume control. It also supports play .swf files
(flash file). It will later support loading FLV files from webserver."

I think you were clear enough but I believe that since it says>Guess I should've been clearer: I don't know /whether
>Bitcomet FLV Player uses the Adobe/Macromedia flash plugin./
"...is a standalone application" it implies that it has its own
swf/flv renderer inside and doesn't rely on any other codecs etc.
Do you think that might not be so?
There is also a Bitcomet forum where you could ask...
