    Default How is this done?? Line drawing.

    Hi,

    I have recently started dabbling with Flash and I came across this site: [url]www.caststoneuk.co.uk[/url]

    I really like the effect of the lines being drawn......could omebody point me in the right direction of a good tutorial on how this is done or if it is easy coud somebody please tell me how it is done.

    taking a punt, id say its just motion and/or step tweening.

    And taking another punt, I`d say hes right.
    There are quite a few ways to achieve this, the easiest being shape tweening. You need to put each line on a seperate layer. I`ve just made this quickly so you can see how it works (sorry about the quality)

    Good gosh!! Doing that with shape tweening is not easy at all! Way too
    much trouble for that effect.
    All ya need to do is draw the whole thing on the first frame.
    press F6 to duplicate to next frame.
    Erase a little bit.
    press F6 to duplicate to next frame.
    Erase a little bit more.

    Keep repeating this process until the whole thing is erased. The select all
    the frames and Modify -->Frames-->Reverse.

    This is the same ole method we use to make animated signatures. I think you
    will find this method much easier than all that tweening.
