How much would metallic colours add to the cost of a print run?
I'm designing a book in Indesign.
Currently the publisher uses 4 colour throught, but I'd like to use a
metallic pantne spot colour on the cover.
The print run is 30,000 and it's 9.187" by 7.453".
What I want to know is roughly how much this would increase the
printing cost?
Thx,
Rich

Re: How much would metallic colours add to the cost of a print run?
I don't know, but it shouldn't cost any more than a regular spot color.
Is it going to be a self-cover book? Sounds like a hard cover, so the
cover would be printed seperately anyway. They can run it on a 6-color
press. Sorry, really no help. Who is printing it? Can't they tell you?
