Assuming Openserver 5.0.x, you can tackle most jobs through 'scoadmin'
(I don't know what is available in Unixware, sorry)

Have a look through Tony's site:
    http://www.pcunix.com

To establish a default route (which is what I think you are trying to
    do):

To set up your server's ip, use the "ipviolation" command. On first
use, this will download and install some useful GNU tools, carefully
removing the copyright notices and source code after compilation.

I always install and often use sysadmsh on OpenServer 5.0.x.

SCO has released dozens of different releases and versions of
various Unix operating systems over the last couple of decades.
You didn't give any indication of which one you might be using,
so I'm going to guess. My answer is for OpenServer 5.

scoadmin is the front end for most (but not all) administration
tasks in OpenServer Release 5. It works both from the command
line and from the graphical interface.

For more information, click on the Help icon, go into the
Operating System Doentation section, and read the System
Administration Guide. That will get you started. The entire
doentation set is available through Help.

    Sur UnixWare 7, scoadmin aussi.
