how to apply stroke on imported image
How can I make a 1pt width box surronding a imported image (tif format
8 bit)?
I tried the following steps:
1. import the tif image.
2. select the image and click the stroke tag in the object toolbar.
The problem is I can't select any of the stroke options once I
selected the image. All options except "none" are disabled in the
stroke pannel.

Re: how to apply stroke on imported image
Select teh image.
In the Object tab of the Properties palette, click the Add Stroke button to
create a vector stroke around the image. Set color and weight as desired.
FH does not require a "container" object to place an imported image, as do
most page layout programs; so there is no vector object there to apply a
stroke to unless you create one.

Re: how to apply stroke on imported image
zhong,
The procedure you describe only works in FHMX.
For previous version of FH turn on snap to point and use the rectangle tool
to drag a box around your image.
You can then select both objects and group them together to make them stay
together,
