How to burn a bootable CDROM? - Mac Applications & Software

I have a dual G4 with a Superdrive running MacOS 9.2.2. Can I create a bootable CD with what comes with the OS? I tried the Disc Burner utility by dragging folders to a CD-RW disk. The system folder that was burned wasn't bootable. Also, how do I write over the existing session, now that I've recorded onto it the first time? -- DeeDee, don't press that button! DeeDee! NO! Yes, as long as you write boot blocks. There is a "make bootable" function
    in Toast.

Once you have written a session, you can't over write it. If you have a
burner that handles CD RW, then you can erase the RW and write a new
    session.
