I don't believe you can do that because there are active files are being
used and you can't copy that.

What I did is to install a 2nd OS(e.g: XP workstation) on a different
partition. Boot the system using the 2nd OS and then you can copy the 1st OS
    to any directory/disk you wish.

    I hope it helps.

    Hi,

You can use imaging software like Ghost (Corporate Edition)

As James mentioned, any files in use won't copy over and you may have
potential problems. To circumvent this, you could do an install of Windows
2003 on your new larger drive (just as a member server or something) but be
sure to pick an alternate install path i.e c:\lindows (just for an example
    ;) )

Then just copy the \windows folder from the current drive to the root of the
drive that has \lindows. Modify the boot.ini file so it launches

    From: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\Lindows="Temp OS install"
    To: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\Windows="Origi nal 2003 Server"

At least this worked in NT 4.0 :) I'd *strongly* recommend you try this
procedure out first on a test machine of some sort. Good luck.

I know it's not supported for Server products but don't personally know if
it is allowed/will work with them

I wouldn't do this for a server....Ghost is not designed for server
    products.
