How to create new text which is searchable in PDF
Hi,
I would like to create a new font to create a postscript2 file and there after a PDF file using distiller6.0. I want the same font to be searchable in PDF. I would like to do the same both on UNIX and windows. Can we embed the new created font in UNIX so that the font is picked by PDF reader and work as searchable font. Will you please specify what tools to use to create a new font which is searchable in PDF, and what environment setting are to be made. If possible please list the commands to get through.
Please note that i would like to do it using distiller6.0.
I don't know whether distiller6.0 exits on UNIX yet or not. But I have distiller6.0 on windows.

One tool for designing fonts is Fontographer from Macromedia.
Designing fonts is considered quite an expert task, so do not expect
results in days or weeks.
