How to crop a photo in Freehand

Hello there, I hope you can help me. I need to crop a photo and all I have is Freehand. I'm very new to this program and I have very little time to learn it, so if anybody can please spare some time to answer this, I will be very very grateful.

Please give me instructions (step by step) on how to use the Crop command in Freehand. I realised it's not as simple as cropping a picture in Word or Photoshop (or is it?)

import photo into FH
select rectangle tool
draw a rectangle over the photo as you would like to crop it
select photo
cut it
select rectangle
choose from menu "edit" - "paste contents"("paste inside" in previous FH versions)

photo should appear now in rectangle leaving cropped area unvisible
you can use any other vector shape besides rectangle

alt-click on photo to move it within rectangle
rectangle remains editable as any other path
group the rectangle if you want to resize both rectangle and its contents

also there is hidden crop tool in freehand, i´ve had suggested to hit c key to get it but these shortcuts are not working in PC FHMXa if you are on Mac you may try it. there is problem with it - FH will lose crops made with crop tool
