How to de-authorize Macromedia Contribute 3.0?
Hello All,
So that's the situation: I've got an older G4 which had previously been used
for contribute. I'm preparing a new box as a replacement, but I've been told I
need to deauthorize the install on the old machine.
I cannot, search though I have, find any way to deauthorize this application.
Perhaps I received the wrong information?
Thank you,

Re: How to de-authorize Macromedia Contribute 3.0?
if i understand you correctly you need to deauthorized contribute on the old
machine so you can have it on the replacement computer,,,
there is a process called deactivation within contribute, it would deactivate
the license from the old computer so you can activate it again on the new one.
here is how.
launch contribute
click on help
click on deactivate or transfer activation
then it will give you a message if it is successful or not.= )

Re: How to de-authorize Macromedia Contribute 3.0?
There's obviously a difference between Mac and PC concerning de-activation. I have C 3.11 and C 4.0 on a PC, and you don't need to de-activate to reinstall or install on another PC.
