You need the full version of Adobe Acrobat to do some limited editing to PDF files. If you only have AcrobatReader installed then you need to upgrade.
I am going to assume you are talking about Acrobat since you are in the Acrobat forum. Your post says "how to edit in adobe 6.0" but you didn't specify the Adobe product by name or what kind of editing you are talking about.
