Default How to export vectors from Freehand to Photoshop?

Is it possible? I open with PS the .eps file, but it automatically
rasterizes. If I use "copy and paste", it pastes the vector only as a bitmap
image, and if I choose to paste as "path vector" it says me "the parser
    module can't...".
Someone Knows how to import, in PS from Freehand, path vectors keeping their
    nature, without to rasterize them?

    thanks.

Default Re: How to export vectors from Freehand to Photosh

The best (and perhaps only) way to get paths into Photoshop from FreeHand is to
use the Copy Special command under the Edit menu. In MX go to Edit / Special /
Copy Special. Then in the list that appears choose plain "EPS". When you paste
into Photoshop, the "Pixels or Path" dialog appears. Choose Path and you should
    be good to go.

Note that, although this has worked with few if any hitches for years with
earlier versions of both programs, I have encountered a few instances of it not
working from MX to Photoshop CS. If it's multiple paths you are trying to paste
and it doesn't work, try doing it with only a few or one at a time.

Note also that the Copy Special dialog is the best way to paste pixel
information from FreeHand to Photoshop. In this case, instead of choosing plain
"EPS" from the list, choose "EPS for Photoshop 4/5" and the pixel option in the
    Photoshop paste dialog.
