|However, say I have a file: something.rpm
|What is the command to find out it's contents,
|what it is, prerequisites, etc. ie.
|command -flag something.rpm
|And without searching the web for doentation.
|I've read the man pages for rpm, but it's not obvious.
|Is it a different command?
rpm also. Just add the p flag to indicate it's a RPM file you are
dealing with, not an installed packages. E.g.
rpm -qlp something.rpm to find out what's inside it
rpm -qip something.rpm to read the package info
[You're over-crossposting. This is a simple question.]
