How to format Word doc to allow for easier importing
My first post to this group ... you guys are a wealth of knowledge!
Usually I can find answers to my questions with a few searches of this
group - and wala - I'm on my way.
I have a book project coming up and the content source asked me today
if she could format the text in word in any way that could spead up the
process of the book layout. If there is -- this will shave days off
my project.
Eage page in the FINAL book document will consist of a large block of
text on the left - and a small column of text on the right.
Doing it by hand - I would have the right side set up this way; and
the left page mirrored (large block of text on right; small column of
text on left).
Is there any way she could set up the word document so that In Design
would populate already set up columns with the content?
I hope I'm explaining it well. I *place* text all the time from Word
-- but I wasn't sure if there was a way to get it to put this text in
the big box, and the next section in the little box; move to the next
page; text in a big box on the next page, the next section in a
little box; etc.
