Default How to handle mpeg2 with DirectorMX2004

    Hi all.
    I wouldt like to integrate and play a mpeg-Videofile in a Director-Movie.
It is a mpeg layer 2.
I am still working with DirectorMX2004 (trail) and I have been installed the
    MpegAdvance.x32-Xtra (unregistered).
    But, it is not working.
Is that the right way to deal with mpeg-Video.
A nother question: Is there a way to integrate a mpeg1-Videofile in Director 8?
    I do need help.
    Thanks

Mpeg2, like dvds? the added dvd interface calls the end user system's
dvd player drivers. Aparently there's a library of dvd control functions
that come on some supplemental CD or perhaps can be downloaded.

Using MPEG 1 in any Director version prior to MX 2K4 requires the use of
either QuickTime or a third party Xtra like MPEG Advance Xtra.
