how to hide imageable area/page edge
Greetings,
I'm a newbie, using Illustrator 8 on OS9. Would like to hide/delete the dotted lines that indicate the imagable area and page edge. These settings seem to be set to a selected printer; I can change them but not make them disappear. Working on a project that won't be printed and would like these lines out of the way.

Re: how to hide imageable area/page edge
I know in AI 10 you can go to View/Hide page tiling. It might be the same in AI8.

Re: how to hide imageable area/page edge
You can Hide Page Tiling in the View menu, but you can't get rid of the artboard edges. You can, however, get them completely out of your way. Go to Document Setup and make your Artboard dimensions really big - like 48 by 48 inches.
