I have been wondering this same thing.
I read that you could import from the hard drive - but it doesn't explain how.
The documentation is really lame on all of the new features.

Re: how to import DVD content in hard disc?
yea, it does work !
thank you!
but the only way is that putting DVD movies (including AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS)
to the root folder of one disc drive. if i have many DVD movies, how??? put
each one to a different disc drive's root folder?
why NOT director mx 2004 locating the DVD movies in any folders? but only the
root folder of disc drive?
how?

Please refer to the TechNote below for information on how Director can play
DVD videos from the hard drive or from a specific path/location:
"Playing DVDs from a specific path or folder"

Hope this helps.
