How to import ODBC settings
OK. The short version: I would like to import my ODBC settings from my old
installation of CF (either the uninstalled version of 7 or 6.1). (Yes I know
CF does this automatically during the install migration But..it didn't ....see
the long version.) They do all still exist in MS ODBC control panel, but not
CF. Where are these stored?
The Long version: I had CF61 installed and upgraded to CF7. All was fine. All
datasources migrated successfully. I noticed that all of the old CFMX6 services
were still installed and running, so I decided I since I didn't need MX61
anymore, just install. Bad idea. Many things stopped working, click the CF
Administrator, RDS.... sooo, I uninstalled CF7 (it would not let me re-install
over the existing version) then reinstalled. Everything working great, except
no datasources (the defaults were there). Since I uninstalled version 6.1, the
little migration wizard did not run (even though the CFusionMX directory is
still there) and thus no DS. I really do not want to re-key these in as there
were over 100 of them. Please help!
Thanks, Dan
