Hi,

My friend is not a computer guy. He has a Mac which he uses only as a text
processor. It is not a Classic, it is a big machine but old. Somewhere around 1990
or 1992. And it is not connected to the Internet.

For myself, I am mostly PC and not familiar with Macs.

I would like to give my friend a PDF document that he could read on his Mac.

First question:

Would a PDF file burnt on a CD from a PC would be readable on a Mac?

Second Q:

If yes, is it possible to install a Mac Acrobat reader program, downloaded from
Adobe on a PC and burnt on a CD from that PC on my friend's Mac? The file I
downloaded is named: "rs405fre.bin" and is supposed to work on a Mac with OS
7xxx. (I am not sure which OS he has)

Third Q:

Once I insert the CD in the Mac, how do I do to install the program?

Thank you,

Pierre Cloutier
