I have two tables TableA Name, DeptNum, SubDeptNum JDoe, 1001, 1004 TableB Number, Name 1001 Admin 1004 Admin Sec. I am using the following which works for one but to do both? select name, B.Name , A.DeptNum from TableA A , TableB B where A.DeptNum = B.Number order by B.Name, name I am trying to join so that I get the following format Desired Result: A.Name, DeptNum, B.Name, SubDeptNum, B.Name JDoe 1001 Admin 1004 Admin Sec.     I have two tables

    TableA

    Name, DeptNum, SubDeptNum
    JDoe, 1001, 1004

    TableB

    Number, Name
    1001 Admin
    1004 Admin Sec.

    I am using the following which works for one but to do both?

    select name, B.Name , A.DeptNum
    from TableA A , TableB B
    where A.DeptNum = B.Number
    order by B.Name, name

    I am trying to join so that I get the following format

    Desired Result:

    A.Name, DeptNum, B.Name, SubDeptNum, B.Name
    JDoe 1001 Admin 1004 Admin Sec.

    Try,

    select A.Name, B.Name , A.DeptNum, C.Name , A.DeptNum
    from TableA A INNER JOIN TableB B ON A.DeptNum = B.Number
    INNER JOIN TableB C ON A.SubDeptNum = C.Number
    order by B.Name, A.Name
