All type in FH goes in a reference rectangle that has eight points, one
in each corner and one in the middle of each side. If you double click
on the point on the right side, it will change from an open point to a
closed point. That will make the rectangle a set length and type will
wrap as it gets to the end of the rectangle.

You can also set this in the Object palatte. If you use the Help menu it
will give you more information on how to do handle type.

    Dave,

If you have no need for auto-expanding text boxes (either horizontal or
vertical) and you don't want to deal with the object inspector every
time you make a text block, then change your method of creating a text
block. Instead of just clicking where you want to start typing, click
and drag out the size box you want then type. You can freely resize it
using any of the corner handles after the fact. Side handles will
effect the letter spacing and top/bottom handles effect the leading.

Another option. There's a preference, Text > 'New text containers
Auto-Expand'. With this unchecked, a single click with the text tool gives
    you a default text box of 3 X 2 inches, non auto-expanding.
