Default How to make a file where the pages are numbered correctly?

I'm supposed to print a small "book", page size A5, 40 pages.
How can I arrange the pages easily so that they are in the right place when you finally read the book? In Pagemaker it's simple but in Indesign I can't figure it out!!!

If you're looking for the equivalent of PageMaker's Build Booklet, do a search of this forum on the word Booklet -- and be sure to bear in mind that you need to know which version of InDesign you're using.
