How to make Director export a movie with a 360 view ???

QTVR's ObjectVR might be what you are referring to, where you have an object and cas see it from many angles. That trick works by having several images from the same object (either photos or renders) from different angles, and changing the displayed image sequentially as the user drags the mouse.

The drawback is that you need LOADS of images for a smooth motion.

In Director you can use real-time 3D (like the real time editing windows in Lightwave, where you can freely rotate the camera around an object as you wish) to display an object, instead of rendering it from several angles. While the image quality is a bit lower (the image is aliased, and the lighting won't be as good as a production render's), you have the advantage of total movement freedom, since the object is "real" 3D, not just a photo.

Just get the Shockwave3D exporter for Lightwave (I think you can get it in their website), and export your model as .W3D. Then load it into Director and place it into the stage.

You'll need some behavior/script for mause interaction. The Director library has an orbit camera behavior, and you can also find excellent behaviors in the Chrome Lib.
