How To Make Successful PDFs using PS files from Quark 7.02????

Hi all...
I just invested in the update to Quark 6.5. All along I have been making Print Styles and printing my documents as Postscript files. I then distill them using Distiller 7.0 and hey presto great PDF files at small file sizes with excellent quality. But Quark 7.0 has a different dialog box now for Print Styles and I don't seem to be able to make PDF's like I used to. I have used Quarks inbuild PDF maker but the file sizes are crazy. I have also uses the Optimize PDF feature in Acrobat Professional 7.0 to make the files less weighty... but I would prefer to avoid all these work arounds and get back to making my pure Adobe Acrobat PDFs. If anyone knows of a thread or an easy step by step guide posted somehwere on the web.... that would be much appreciated.

We have similar problems. In all of the Print Styles, the "Center" will not stick. The only work-around I have found is that if you manually re-enter the height, then Center is available again. but only that once. If you print again, you have to re-enter it again. I have sent Quark several stern tech calls on this, but they apparently aren't listening (imagine that.)
The other problem, with Distilling, is same here. But I'd like to add one more twist. We like to use the Adobe PDF 7.0 printer that is set up when Distiller installs, it is real convenient, and easier to teach other operators. Quark 7 documents printed this way just disappear into thin space. The Adobe PDF 7.0 printer activates, but the PDF never shows up anywhere (normally Desktop) and Acrobat never launches.
