    host is a movieclip that's within your main movie? if so, then any variable
    attached to host will be lost upon execution of that loadMovie statement.
    however, if there are variables attached to your main movie these will still be
    defined and you would reference them from host (which is how you'll reference X
    after loading is completed) the same way you would before the loadMovie
    statement was executed
