How to remove an old editor
I cannot find a way to get around message "you cant edit this page cos
xxxxxxxxxx is currently editing it" . I have a 8 page website set up by a
designer. He recommended contribute so I could do basic edits but not 2 of 8
pages are locked by the message above which links back to the designers email
address. I am listed as administrator and have tried to remove other publishers
or writers but the message remains. Please could you suggest what to do. ?
ps designer looked back at his dreamweaver edits and check out ok. thankyou

Use an FTP client to connect to your web site and manually remove the
..lck files. The re-open Contribute and you'll be able to edit.
