Re: How to remove background from font??
The problem is that you don't have the font in question. Install the font and the dreaded pinkness will go away.

Re: How to remove background from font??
The pink background indicates the font is not properly installed. If you look in your type specs, the name and/or styling is probably in brackets [].
Install the font ID is looking for with Adobe Type Manager, or do a Find Font search (under your type menu) and replace it with an active font on your system.

Re: How to remove background from font??
It could also mean that ID is discombobulated. I have Zapf Dingbats installed, and use it often for bullets in front of text in another font. It's a major hastle when I open or print these files to have to do a Find Font to get rid of "Zapf Dingbats 47 Condensed".
