How to remove FILE & PAGE information

I'm trying to create a *.PDF file from a pure *.TXT file.

However, in the created *.pdf, file & page information is contained, which i definately want removed, eg:

At the very top of the PDF file:

file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/student/My%20Documents/notes.txt

and at the bottom of every page:

file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/student/My%20Documents/notes.txt (2 of 488)4/12/2004 3:22:07 PM

How can i remove this information ?

PS. I unchecked the 'include file information' box on the Adobe virtual printer, but it didnt seem to do the trick.

'include file information' = Add document information

If using Acrobat 6

Create PDF From WebPage > Settings > Plain Text > [deselect] Place headers & footers on new pages.

You can remove it is alreader there using the Touchup Text tool to select the text and delete.

Did you actually use the Adobe PDF printer? If you opened the PDF in
Acrobat you didn't. I recommend opening the Text file in Word and
printing to PDF from there.

Yes, i'm using Acrobat 6.

Did you actually use the Adobe PDF printer? Yes, was using UltraEdit as
a text editor, and printed the *.txt to the virtual Abode printer, but
that didnt work.
