Re: How to remove permantly pdfmaker from all Office application
I am typing in English so you'll have to translate to French equivalent.
quit all applications and from Desktop open the Find command.
type in PDFMaker.
should be just three files one for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Next create three empty folders. name the exactly the same as each of the PDFMaker Files.
no go to each folder where one of these items are.
place that item in the Trash.
Now install the empty folder with the equivalent name.
repeat with each remaining item.
Now empty the Trash.
Now open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint and the PDFMaker will be forever banished.
This takes in to a Truism in Mac and UNIX file systems.
You can not replace a file with a folder.
The reverse is also true, you can not replace a folder with a file.
So since the item can not be replaced it can't show up.
