How to scale a text frame and change the font size in once?
In ID2:
when I am scaling some text frame by dragging one of the corner points the text is reflowing - but sometimes I would like it to change it's size. I know that when I type the percentage scale in the transform palete it will do what I want but is there some trick to do it by draging?

Re: How to scale a text frame and change the font size in once?
If you use the scale tool, make sure that scale content is selected.
In ID CS you can use the ctrl key while resizing the frame with the
selection tool.

Re: How to scale a text frame and change the font size in once?
I not sure that adding the ability to scale text like that to a page layout program was particularily wise of Adobe.
You should be aware that you can access the selection tool by holding Cntrl while you the text tool selected, and that if you resize a text frame under those conditions the text in the frame will not scale. The problem is that it is rather easy to get into a reflexive habit of holding Cntrl when you shouldn't. I am not the only one who has found text frames in my document in which the text is thrown slightly out of whack because of this behaviour. I thought I was just snapping the edge of my frame to a guide; the amount of skew applied wasn't apparent on screen and on one occassion it almost made it to print.
