Default How to set up online payment service without payment gateway?

    Hi everyone,

I know we can set up the online payment service for cc and paypal thru
payment gateway such as linkpoint.com. However, the problem is that the
charging rate for each cc transaction is so expensive. It's around 2.2%
per transaction. So if customer pays $10,000 in the web site thru the
payment gateway, the payment gateway will return $9,780 and they will
    swallow up $220.

How can I get rid of this extra fee? Why don't I become a payment
    gateway by myself?
I guess it should be possible. How can I be the gateway such as
    linkpoint and paypal?

    Please answer my questions.

    Your friend.
