Default how to stop or diminish jrun.exe?

    hello.
I'm testing CF in development version in my desktop.

So, I don't want to run processes jrun.exe and their family in ordinary times.
I want to run them manually, but I can NOT find services stop/running section.

    How to delete these processes?

    Cheers.

Default Re: how to stop or diminish jrun.exe?

Depends. What are the details on your install? JRun is, for all intents and
    purposes, your ColdFusion application.

If you're running standard you'd stop the 3 ColdFusion services in your
Services control panel under Admin Tools (assuming WXP or 2k). If you're
running Enterprise, it'd be the same if you're in stand-alone mode. If you're
running J2EE and you've not setup your instances as a service, then you'll need
to log into JRun's web administrator and start/stop the instances there.
