hp printer Acrobat Pro 7.0.1 Macintosh
When printing a pdf file, the images print as diagonal black lines; text is OK.
Setting to print as 'image' prints the image correctly.
Printing the same file in Acrobat 6 = no printing problem, images print correctly. This seems to be a problem only in Acrobat Pro 7.0.1.
Printer: hp deskjet 6840; operating system: Macintosh G4 mirror door, OS 10.3.9. Any solution to print without converting to print as image?

Re: hp printer Acrobat Pro 7.0.1 Macintosh
I have the same issue with gif images. and the same work around works for me.
This is an exact redux of a printing bug in I believe Acrobat 3 0r 4 on OS9 years ago. Only then there was no setting to Print as image back then. We had to wait months for a cure to come out.
Suggest you file a bug report with Adobe about this.
