I am not sure I understand your problem. But I, too am having problems with
preview in browser and Firefox. When I got to preview in browser. If Firefox is
already open, the web page will come up. If I then close the Firefox window
(app is still open). Go back to Dreamweaver and preview in browser, the link to
    the file is broken.
comes up in the browser window as
    file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/nathm...etc...

When it should come up with only 2 //, like this
    file://Macintosh%20HD/Users/nathm...etc...

I have to keep quitting the browser, and then the file path will come up
correctly. This has started since yesterday when I upgraded and added Apple's
    latest security patch.

    Anyone have this problem?

If you rename your files outside of DW, yes, you will have to go one-by-one
and modify each hyperlink. If you did it inside DW's File panel, then DW
    will manage them for you.

This is the correct format for such a link.

Find and replace for all files on the site is another way to update name changes.
