huge problem with ACROPDF and Adobe Reader 8

I made a program to view PDfs using the axacroPDFlib.dll in my C# 2.0 application. I installed it on a machine that has adobe reader 8, and adobe acrobat 6. and I get an HRESULT_ERROR problem when I try to load the windows form with the PDF reader component. I figured the computer needs adobe 7.. but 7 wont install with 8 on there.

any ideas ? or advice ? where can I get the new axacroPDF that will work with 7 and 8 both ? I'm very confused, and this is really important to us.

First, AcroPDF.dll is supported in both Acrobat/Reader 7 & 8, but NOT Acrobat 6.

Second, Adobe does NOT support the installation of multiple versions of Acrobat & Reader on the same computer.
