Re: HYPERLINK
I am not comfortable with any of this unfortunately. I just opened my own
business and I am trying to build a website for it. The reason that I am using
these programs is that it looked like all that I had to do was plug in the info
where I wanted it. I don't know code and I don't know what half this stuff
means. I do however have my home page almost complete, I just need to know how
to link my pages together.
If you have better advice on what I should be doing or what I should be using,
I am all ears.
Thanks

Also, I have re-named almost all the links on the Left wide and the top right so that they can direct people to the appropriate page.

Re: HYPERLINK
I recommend you opt for something that you might find here -
http://www.projectseven.com/ (look for design-pack series)
http://www/dreamweaverresources.com (lots of nice designs there)
http://www.communitymx.com (look for jump start series)
http://www.tjkdesigns.com
Those are about the best available....

Re: HYPERLINK
The problem is that the navigation in those templates is badly flawed. You
will have to redo it. I don't sense that this is where you want to be just
now.

Re: HYPERLINK
Good luck. Most of the authors of those templates lurk here so you will be
able to get lots of help.

Re: HYPERLINK
do you have any templet or something that would help me redo the navigation?

Re: HYPERLINK
No. It would just be done with show/hide layers. The subglobal links are in
the layers, which are hidden. Mousing over the global link would reveal the
associated layer with its corresponding subglobal links.
The trick is to HIDE the layers once they are revealed. I am guessing you
are not up to that, either.
The other templates I linked do not have the same basic navigation problem
that the Halo template does. They would also be much more suitable for
someone just sitting down at the table, so to speak.
