    only problem I have is with the HTML hyperlinks.

    Sounds like it might be related to this one, from:

    hyperlinkclicked,crash: If you set the html of member
    from within an on hyperLinkClicked handler, Director crashes.
    Workaround is to set the html property from some other type of
    handler. This will crash:

    on hyperLinkClicked me
    member("menu").html = member("reference").html
    end

    If you`re doing it inside of a sprite behavior, this will
    work:

    property newhtml,myMem

    on beginsprite me
    newhtml = ""
    myMem = sprite(me.spritenum).member
    end

    on hyperlinkclicked me
    don`t change the html, just set a var to the new html
    newhtml = member("reference").html
    end

    on exitFrame me
    if the var is not empty, change html here instead
    if newhtml <> "" then
    myMem.html = newhtml
    newhtml = ""
    end if
    end
